In its draft social security financing bill, presented last October 10th in the Conseil des Ministres (Council of Ministers), the government has planned the renewal of the Prime Exceptionnelle de Pouvoir d’Achat (Exceptional Bonus of Purchasing Power) (first introduced in December 2018). Capped at € 1000 per eligible employee, this bonus will not be exempt from taxes and social charges except if it is integrated into a "profit-sharing agreement" that the company has to set up beforehand.
